Why I built Cairn
Interactive fiction asks for attention in a way few games do. A world takes shape through words, memory, and imagination, and the best of those worlds are still worth returning to.
I built Cairn because returning to them on a modern Mac should feel inviting, not improvised. Cairn brings play, automatic mapping, manuals, images, and spoiler-conscious hints into one game space. The tools are there to make long sessions easier while preserving the deliberate pace of the story.
